The belt!
To wear a belt is the most wonderful way to emphase your waist. Except for sport chlothes of beach clothes, belts generally should be classic and in leather - although nice belts may be made in material to mach your frock, too. And in more dressy way, the draped belt (wich you call sash) may be very elegant if you have a small waist.
Always be careful when you choose a belt te have it shaped to give you a longer and plunging line at the back. Whether you choose a wide or a narrow belt depends upon the style of frock or coat you are going to wear it with, but if you are short waisted you should avoid wide belts.
